Do I have to change my dojo or lineage to join?
No. Shotokan Australia respects all dojos that train in traditional Shotokan Karate. You retain full independence and continue grading and teaching as you always have.
Are there membership fees or obligations?
No. We believe in open collaboration. There are no required fees or minimum commitments. You can engage as much or as little as suits your needs.
Who can join?
Any dojo, instructor, or karateka who values traditional Shotokan Karate and wishes to be part of a respectful national community.
Can we still participate if we belong to another organisation?
Yes. Our focus is on community and mutual support, not exclusivity.
